The aim was to redesign the existing site and help define the variety of climbing sessions available. As part of the objective, the site also needed to sit within a suite of other Walthew Leisure ventures, including Climb Quest.
To completely overhaul the site structure and visual story to make navigation easy and present the excitement of the climbing experience in a fun, accessible way.
Colour motifs and iconography reflect the shapes found in the climbing centre, from the green of the vines to the orange of the walls. Alongside restructuring the site to better organise climbing sessions, colour was applied to give each its own identity.
The design cascades down to smaller device types (such as mobile) in appropriate ways that both allow for the limited space without compromising on the infromation being presented.
Care was taken to ensure an inclusive experience on the website to reflect the values of Clip 'n' Climb. Considerations were made to things like contrast values, text size & spacing and visual fidelity.
Consistency across the site is maintained with a robust style guide that ensure the brand is always represented on new pages as the site grows with the business.
The result of the project is a well structured, on-brand experience that has pushed visitors to the centre up and unified the brand experience across the different Walthew Leisure ventures.
